Description
Similar to wire ropes, three-strand fibre ropes are manufactured by twisting strands of the string together to make a durable rope. Deciding on the suitable synthetic rope for the job can be a tough decision. But don’t worry, All-Ways Rigging Gear has got you covered; we have a range of durable and highly resistant ropes for your application.
3 STRAND FIBRE ROPES AVAILABLE IN:
- Sisal rope
- Manila rope
- Polyethylene mono rope
- Nylon rope
- Polypropylene rope
These are available in different sizes for rigging, lashing and lifting applications. Resists abrasion and shock, starts from 6mm to 32mm in diameter. The most common rope materials are nylon, polyester, polyethylene and polypropylene. Some ropes are made of variations of these materials. Nylon is the strongest of these materials when dry.
Polyethylene fibres are bristle-like and are similar to the monofilament form of polypropylene. Unlike polypropylene, these ropes are not damaged by ultraviolet effects. They need not be coloured and are usually white.
